About this talk.
In this session, Subscript Co-founder and CEO, Sidharth Kakkar, will discuss net retention metrics with Airbase Controller, Kelly Hicks. Subscript is a subscription intelligence platform that helps finance teams track and comprehend subscription metrics. Early-stage companies are just beginning to gather the data they need for retention analytics, but it is never too early to set up the right processes. The session will discuss why net retention is such an important metric for decision-makers. Sidharth will walk us through the two major methods of calculating SaaS retention — Gross Revenue Retention and Net Revenue Retention — and why you need both. We’ll also look at how cohorted vs uncohorted net retention can tell two vastly different stories, and show the benefits of each one.
